not necessarily in order, except at top
10. Predator- one of a few with Arnold in it on here.
9. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade- one of two from this trilogy here.
8. Terminator- hard to categorize- could have gone in at least three, but I thought of it here first. another trilogy with two on this list.
7. Rambo III- i can hear everyone screaming now, but it was the one I really liked.
6. Superman 2- yes, I think there were a few superhero films that good.
5. Terminator2- just a great movie, with the great time travel theme, which will be heavy in my Sci Fi category.
4. Spiderman2- another one of many sequels that were better than the originals.
3. XMen 2- yes, some of the best actioners were superheroe films.
2. Batman Begins- I already stated elsewhere that this was the best superhero films.
1. Raiders of the Lost Ark- I already called this the best action film on another list, so no surprise.

again, not in true order except at the top
10. White Rabbit, by Jefferson Airplane- a throw back to my hallucinogenic days, but still a brilliantly written song.
9. Aqualung, by Jethro Tull- the best song ever about a homeless person.
8. Centerfield, by John Fogarty- a great song about life with a Baseball theme by one of the true geniuses of Rock and Roll
7. Who will you run to, by Heart- my personal favorite of theirs- could even have been a Christian song.
6. Ramblin Man, by Allman Brothers Band- an obvious choice for the theme, but one of the truly great instramentals of all time at the end.
5. Landslide, by Fleetwood Mac- Stevie Nicks at her best.
4. Freebird, by Leonard Skynard- another choice for great instramental and theme, especially the live version, with the piano added.
3. Born to Run, by Bruce Springstein- all about the theme. It was part ot the mentality that drove me to leave home.
2. Cant you See, by Marshall Tucker Band- an incredible song about being hurt- the best ever.
1. Hotel California, by the Eagles- I always take some heat over this choice, but it is my favorite, period. I know the controversy over what it is about, but I heard Henley, who wrote it, say recently that it was about drug addiction, and I always thought so too.

Not in any particular order, except at the top.
10. Bat out of Hell, by Meatloaf- before he lost the weight, one of the ugliest lead singers in history, but what a voice. And, this album was incredible.
9. A New World's Record, by Electric Light Orchestra- a unique mix of classical sound with rock and roll.
8. Machine Head, by Deep Purple- I think those three bass notes in "Smoke on the Water" are the most recognizable next to the Jaws theme song.
7. Around the World with Three Dog Night, by Three Dog Night- my favorite live album- not only a great album, but one of the most valuable. A copy sold for $100,000 a couple of years ago- I had it as a kid, but my mom threw it away when I went on the streets- something she hasnt forgiven herself for.
6. Dark Side of the Moon, by Pink Floyd- still the ultimate stoner album.
5. Boston, by Boston- the best first album ever, period. If only they had lived up to it with later stuff.
4. Born to Run, by Bruce Springstien- the title track and the whole album were anthems to a generation in New Jersey, of which I was part.
3. Madman across the Water, by Elton John- an early one by him, but his best, including the song that became a hit later on, Tiny Dancer.
2. Rumours, by Fleetwood Mac- Maybe the closest thing to a perfect album- not one song that was less than very good.
1. Hotel California, by the Eagles- the title track alone would put it on this list, but so many other great songs as well.

Ok, so I decided to give them equal time, although I dont listen to it anymore. Again, not necessarily in order, except near the top.
10. Marshall Tucker Band- yeah, I know they wouldnt be on everyones favorites list, but "Cant you see" alone is worth it- the greatest "she done me wrong" song ever. Tons of other great music, and I loved the flute.
9. Bon Jovi- hey theyre from New Jersey where I was raised, and the youngest band on the list. Wanted Dead or Alive was dedicated to me more times than I can count during my street years.
8. Charlie Daniels Band- so they arent really rock- who cares- you have to hate the fiddle not to consider them one of the best.
7. Bachman Turner Overdrive- another personal favorite that might not make everyones list, but man could they jam, and C.F. Turner was one of my favorites on bass.
6. Heart- man could those Wilson sisters sing- they made Seattle famous way before grunge.
5. Jethro Tull- what can I say- I loved bands that used the flute. And, "Aqualung" was probably the greatest song ever about a street person.
4. Bruce Springstein- he would have landed in number one if he had never recorded another album after "Born in the USA".
3. Leonard Skynard- I could start and end this with one word- "Freebird", but that isnt even their best song, although hands down the movie Freebird was my favorite concert movie, and the live version of it is still my favorite live song.
2. Fleetwood Mac- Im talking about the great version, with the five we all know- especially Lindsay Buckingham, one of the most underrated guitarists around, and my favorite female vocalist, Stevie Nicks.
1. Eagles- if for no other reason, waitll you see my favorite albums and favorite songs lists, but Don Henley was my favorite singer, and would be at least top 3 for favorite song writers. An incredible legacy, and when they got Joe Walsh, one of the best guitarists ever, it just got better.

Im not always sure of the original version, so I am usually listing the artist I liked best performing it- not in any particular order.
10. He Is, by Aaron Jefferie- if youve never heard it, go to Rhapsody and listen- Ive been blessed to hear them perform it twice- just an incredible song.
9. Mercy said no, by I dont remember- what a song of God not letting us go, no matter what, even in the darkest time. It hit me during one of those times.
8. I could only imagine, by Mercy Me- the ultimate song about dreaming of Heaven- something we all do, or should be doing.
7. Who am I, by Casting Crowns- dont know exactly why, but this song just does a number on me any time I hear it.
6. Did you feel the Mountains Tremble, by Delirious and Hillsongs Choir (my favorite version)- an incredible song that makes me think of the Lord's return.
5. Worthy is the Lamb, by Hillsongs- what a vision of Heaven I get everytime I hear or sing this song!
4. God's Romance, by Delirious (or CCWC, my home church for 4 1/2 years in Florida, which has a great version)- I just love this song.
3. It is well with my soul, by unknown- I used to know the writer's name, but am blank right now- I couldnt leave off my favorite hymn.
2. Sky Fall Down, by Third Day- I just love this song which is about the Lord's return.
1. kadosh/Days of Elijah, by Paul Wilbur- there are a number of versions of Days of Elijah out there but this one, with the kadosh, is the best. I was privileged to see him do this in concert, and be a part of a group that brought banners in, and it is not only my favorite song, but possibly the greatest experience Ive ever had.
